The family-run hotel in Saalbach Hinterglemm

Relax and MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME in Hotel Astrid

We are – Herbert, Astrid, Stefan & Bianca Steger

In the meantime, our family has grown and we all contribute something to our family-run hotel in Saalbach Hinterglemm.

Herbert – a passionate host

He ensures that his guests are personally cared for and has some top tips about the region. Great bike tours & hikes to suit everyone and best family excursions. Get some insider tips from someone who needs to know it all as a local!

Astrid – the good-hearted soul of the house

Astrid takes care of her guests from the time they make a reservation and ensures that they have a care-free stay in her house. She also enjoys nature and the surrounding of Hotel Astrid and is happy to assist with guidance and advice.

Stefan – head of the kitchen

He is responsible for conjuring up spectacular culinary highlights on the plates of his guests which spoil the eye and palette with an array of national and international dishes. Reinterpreted Austrian cuisine, presented with care, is especially popular. How does “Kaiserschmarren”, a traditional dish of chopped up pancakes sprinkled with icing sugar and stewed plums sound to you?

As a certified bike guide, Stefan is very happy to accompany you on bike tours in summer and will tell you "Secret Trails"; about which people talk less. He also advises guests on all aspects of biking and is always available with tips and tricks. You can find more information and the most famous trails on Glemmguides.

Bianca – the all-rounder

Always with a smile on her face and ready to offer a “helping hand”, is the daughter in the house. She is always on hand to help, and charms guests with her youthful charm and smile.

We look forward to welcoming you soon and would be happy to advise you on the best offers at the family-run Hotel Astrid in Saalbach Hinterglemm!
