Booking your stay at the Hotel Astrid

We have put together some of the most important information about the Hotel Astrid and the Saalbach-Hinterglemm region, including details on checking in and out, how to book your stay and what to do if you need to cancel. Check out these Frequently Asked Questions below.
Everything you need to know

Check-in: Possible from14:00 – an extra charge will apply if you wish to check in earlier. Please park your car in the underground garage (500 metres from hotel).
Check-out: We kindly ask you to check out by 10:00.
Please let us know in advance if you are planning on arriving after 20:00.
Late arrival – early departure: If you arrive late or depart early, you will still have to pay for the length of stay originally booked.
Cancellation is only valid in writing.
- From 3 months to 14 days before arrival we charge max. 3 days.
- From 14 days before the start of the holiday, we charge 70% of the booked arrangement.
- From 3 days before the start of the holiday, we charge 80 % of the booked arrangement.
- If only one person arrives in the booked double room, the full room rate will be charged.
Late arrival - early departure:
The entire room rate for the booked days will be charged, even if the arrival and departure is later or earlier than booked.
In addition, you are optimally protected by taking out travel cancellation insurance through the European Travel Insurance.

Nobody enjoys cancelling a holiday, but sometimes things simply happen which make it a necessity.
We very much hope that we will be able to welcome you to the Hotel Astrid, but it is also important to us that you know what to do if you are unable to come on holiday as planned.
Below you will find details on cancellation conditions at our hotel.
Cancellations can be made free of charge in the following circumstances:
- Travel restrictions due to Covid-19 (if the Saalbach-Hinterglemm region is placed under quarantine)
- Positive Covid-19 test requiring quarantine in your home country (proof of infection issued by the health authorities must be provided)
Tip! Travel cancellation insurance can be purchased to avoid any costs which may arise if you have to cancel your holiday at short notice.
In order to confirm the reservation, we ask you for a written confirmation. The deposit must be paid within the specified period.
We ask for your understanding that in case of non-return or non-payment of the deposit within the period stated above, we cannot consider the booking as binding.
The basic principles of the Austrian hotel regulations apply. Place of jurisdiction Zell am See.
Deposit: We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 25% in order for us to confirm your booking (within 21 days of booking; please make sure you cover any bank fees). As soon as we receive this deposit we will contact you to confirm your booking.

Cancellations: Please be aware that your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel your holiday with us.
Payment options: If possible, please pay in cash. It is also possible to pay with an Austrian, German or Dutch debit card. Visa and MasterCard are also accepted.
Short stays and all-inclusive offers must be paid in cash at the hotel. Thank you for your understanding.
